For displays solutions including a cover lens in glass (with- or without touch), there is now the possibility to get the whole lens in black mode. When you turn on the screen, the images will shine through. This makes your next generation HMI look more professional!

This technology will block some of the backlight though, so you would need to increase the brightness by roughly 20%. Typically this can be achieved by using white LED’s with higher bins.
