SSD Industrial
Industrial Solid State Drives (SSD) are today mainly based on and Multi Level Cell (MLC) and Triple Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash technology. Latest technology is the so called 3D NAND which offers a better price per Gigabyte than older 2D NAND. There is still possibility to get Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND flash products for extrem environment applications.
Industrial SSDs mainly offer M.2, mSATA and 2.5″ SATA form factors.
We offer SSD’s with features such as Intelligent Power Shield, SSD Scope Pro, Super MLC, Wide Temperature and Conformal Coating to provide even higher reliability and data protection making them extremely suitable for mission-critical applications such as automotive and transportation, embedded, network communication, industrial computing, gaming, medical and video surveillance.
SSD Commercial
Commercial Solid State Drives (SSD) are often based on 3D Triple Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash technology and soon also Quad Level Cell (QLC). TLC means that three bits are stored in a memory cell where as QLC implies that four bits are stored in each cell. These technologies lead to larger storage capacity and lower cost per Gigabyte but at the cost of less reliability and usage.
