As a new service, we now offer both subassembly testing and end-product testing at EG Electronics.

Our new service provides peace of mind to our customers, as well as immunity from some of the risks associated with high-value technology purchases. Today’s digital world is always-on, constantly evolving and changing, so confidence in your technology is crucial for your business.

Why use a testing service?

Reliability and environmental testing give you all the information about how the finished product performs in the conditions and environments in which it will be used. It will also show you how well the finished product operates in harsh environments, and how it will respond to different conditions like heat, cold and moisture.

For customers that do not have their own testing equipment this can provide crucial information and prove that the solution is robust and that it will perform well in the target environment.

How does it work?

When the original manufacturers produce component pieces, these pieces will be tested in isolation to make sure that they are fit for purpose. All the components EG Electronics sources and assembles to make a solution have been tested individually, but not all together. Therefore, we are now offering a service to fully test your assembled solution prior to shipping.

What do we test for?

Life Cycle testing
This tells you how long your equipment or technology solution will work for, and when you might need to start looking for a replacement.

Environmental testing
This will tell you how the product responds to environmental factors such as heat, cold, humidity, dust and water.

Mechanical testing
This tells us how well the product can withstand potential disruptors like shock and heavy vibration. We also test several surroundings to see how the product responds to the installation process and warehousing.

Transportation and packaging testing
This shows us how well the product will travel and what precautions and packaging need to be employed to make sure it reaches its destination safely.
